The MAXIMA MX-160 is a simultaneous 5-axis trunnion-style machining center engineered for complex, high-precision parts. With 18,000 RPM HSK63A spindle, ±0.003 mm positioning accuracy, and trunnion-table configuration, it excels at aerospace, medical, and mold-making applications.

Single-Setup Capability

5-axis machining eliminates multiple setups, reducing fixture costs and improving geometric accuracy. Complex turbine blades, impellers, orthopedic implants, and mold inserts are produced in a single operation with ±0.002 mm repeatability.

Controller Options

Choose FANUC 31i-B5 (high-end 5-axis with AI contour control), Siemens 840D sl (advanced multi-axis), or Heidenhain TNC 640 (preferred by mold & die makers). All support simultaneous 5-axis and 3+2 positioning.
